Purple Learn Button Programming Remote Control
The new GD-R11 one-button visor remote is an ideal replacement for garage door openers that utilize a purple learn button located on the motor unit's powerhead, which is mounted to the garage ceiling.
The order comes complete with a compatible remote, a visor clip, an installed battery, and easy-to-follow programming instructions.

Programming Instructions for Purple Learn Button Openers.
- Locate the PURPLE Learn button on your garage door opener power head (it will be a round or square PURPLE button on the end of the motor unit where the antenna wire is located.) You may have to remove the light lens cover on some models.
- Press and Release the PURPLE learn button on the motor unit of your garage door opener. A yellow light will light up next to the learn button.
- Immediately press and release one push button on the new compatible remote control (you should hear a click in the motor unit and your light bulb(s) may flash).
- Press the remote button again you just programmed to test it.
Repeat each step for each PURPLE learn button opener using only one button for each unit.
To Erase All Codes from Motor Memory.
To deactivate any unwanted or lost remote, first erase all codes: Press and hold the “learn” button on motor unit until the learn indicator light goes out (approximately 6 seconds). All previous codes are now erased. Reprogram each remote and keypad that you wish to use still.
